Chart collection

Here you organize saved charts, search for people or topics and prepare the selection for work in the Chart Center.

What you can do here

The chart collection is your starting point for existing chart data. You can search, filter, use tags, open charts, edit properties and adapt the list to your workflow.

Quick start

Categories instead of folders

Use categories

All charts are in one pool and not distributed in different folders. By assigning them to one or more categories (also called tags) you can group charts according to your topics, clients, projects or work lists. A set day will help you find it quickly later.

Filter tabs or category tabs

You can set up frequently used tag combinations as filter tabs. This allows you to switch between system charts, recently created or changed charts and your own work categories with one click.

Section menu and toolbar actions

Section menu

The menu summarizes actions that are not permanently visible as individual buttons in the narrow layout.

Show tag panel

Opens the available categories that can be assigned to the current chart.

Toggle list view

You can display all charts as a detailed table list or as a compact overview list.

Open chart

Opens the selected chart and sets it as the current context for Chart Center and Info Center.

Create new chart

Opens a new, temporary, so-called ''Just Now'' chart and sets it as the current context for Chart Center and Info Center. Adjust the entries as described under Changing chart data and save it

Change chart data

Opens the selected chart and the integrated input dialog with live preview. Edit the birth dates and category assignments of the current chart.

Properties

Opens the details or settings dialog for the chart collection.

Filter

Use filters

Just like with the search, you can also filter your results to get a quick overview.

Window handling

Show, hide, maximize

The chart collection can be hidden, shown again or maximized. This is particularly helpful if you need more space for the list on small screens.

Remember size

If you change the width or height of the collection, the program remembers the setting to match the current device layout.
